Sham Marriage Of Levi Bellfield Should Be Stopped

Matthew Steeples joins those demanding attention seeking rapist-serial killer Levi Bellfield isn’t granted the right to have a sham marriage in prison; this maniacal monster deserves punitive punishment not privileges

Levi Bellfield (born Levi Rabetts and also known as Yusuf Rahim) wants to get married. Naturally, in response to this sick beyond belief rapist and serial killer’s latest nothing but another attention seeking stunt, outrage has followed. Rightly, the former Justice Secretary Robert Buckland summed up the views of the majority in arguing that the proposed prison nuptials “beggars belief.”

As Nikolay Kalinin pointed out in his July 2021 article for this publication in which he condemned the double child killer Colin Pitchfork being released – the “inhuman swine” was subsequently recalled for breaching parole conditions – there are certain monsters-not-men who do not deserve to be treated as anything but the subhuman specimens that they well and truly are. Pitchfork and Bellfield are exactly such and in their cases, life truly should mean life and with that should come punitive punishment and utterly no privileges.

A father of eleven children by three women – none of whom he tellingly got around to bother marrying – Bellfield, as Buckland also added, ensured “Milly [Dowler] never got to see her wedding day, it cannot be right he gets to have his.”

At a time when he stands accused also of having confessed to the 1996 murders of Lin and Meghan Russell – for which Michael Stone remains incarcerated and still professes his innocence of – “cunning” Bellfield has plainly conned a woman with less than half a brain into helping him cause further pain and suffering to the families of his deceased victims Milly Dowler, Marsha McDonnell and Amélie Delagrange and his still living victims Kate Sheedy and Anna-Maria Rennie.

Of this deranged deviant’s attempt to marry a “besotted blonde visitor” said to be in her 40s, Victoria Atkins MP rightly added that she will “do ‘everything in her power’ to stop the ‘evil monster’ tying the knot and has urged an urgent review,” according to The Sun. Having known Victoria and her delightful and especially sensible parents, ex-MP and ex-MEP Sir Robert Atkins and his good lady wife Lady Atkins, since my youth, I salute the current Prisons Minister for her wise words.

Though the 53-year-old’s application is “still being processed” and “is not [yet] at any further advanced stage,” today we join those calling for the governor of HMP Frankland in County Durham to veto permission for this clear sham marriage. Clear maniac Levi Bellfield is supposedly “cock-a-hoop” about the media attention he is yet again getting, but this “bus stop beast” deserves only to rot in hell.

Of Bellfield, Detective Chief Inspector of the Metropolitan Police turned author Colin Sutton – who caught ‘The Bus Stop Killer’ – once remarked: “He has a massive ego to feed, he thinks he’s God’s gift to everyone. He drives around in his car, feels a bit ‘whatever’ and sees some young blonde girl. Young blonde girl says ‘go away’ and he thinks you dare to turn down Levi Bellfield, you’re worth nothing’ and then she gets a whack over the head. It is shown in the case of Kate Sheedy. She was smart enough to think she didn’t like the look of his car and crosses the road. He thinks: ‘You think you’re so clever’ and whoosh, he runs her over.”
The killer of Milly Dowler, Marsha McDonnell and Amélie Delagrange should NOT be allowed to enjoy himself getting married in Her Majesty’s Prison Frankland whilst his victims rot in their graves, their lives having been taken far too young.
Colin Pitchfork is another example of a prisoner who should never have been rewarded with privileges. Allowing him release on conditional licence in June 2021 was rightly slammed by the public and media, but when he was recalled in November 2021 for breaching that licence by “approaching young women” while on walks from his bail hostel, proof was gain provided that monster’s like him and Bellfield never change their spots.
