Hidden microphone allegedly discovered in Ecuadorian embassy in London
Ecuador’s foreign minister Ricardo Patino has issued a statement in which he claims he will reveal later the name of the country that controlled a bug that they discovered in their embassy in London the Evening Standard reports.
The device, found in a separate room to that in which Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been holed up for the last year, the foreign minister stated represents “another instance of a loss of ethics at the international level in relations between governments”.
The British Foreign Office have declined to comment but we at The Steeple Times must suggest that the real bug inside that embassy is not the device. It is Julian Assange. Stamp him out.
