A 20-question interview with realtor and star of ‘Million Dollar Listing San Francisco’ Roh Habibi

The Steeple Times shares “wit and wisdom”. What’s your guiding force?

Expertise and swagger.

“Don’t get even, get medieval” is, in our humble opinion, a great motto. What’s yours?

Starve the ego, feed the soul.

Kerry Katona was considered unacceptable in 2007. Who or what is unacceptable in 2016?

Not flying using private aviation.

Tony Blair misses being Prime Minister. What do you miss most in your life?

Spontaneity before having children.

What might you swap all your wealth for?

Donald Trump was once a case of: “If you owe the bank a thousand, they close you down; but if you owe the bank a billion, you own the bank”. What’s your view on the banking crisis?

It’s not often that we actually learn from the past unfortunately and it will likely happen again in the future in some other form. Stay cash heavy, leverage other peoples money to your advantage I suppose.

What phrase or word do you most loathe?

‘Try’.

In the UK, some people consider charity to “begin at home”. What’s your view and what causes do you personally support?

We should all make it a point to help as many people in any form of need that we can both financially and physically. I support many different charitable organisations. To name a few, the Arthritis Foundation, Giveback Homes, Habitat for Humanity and at local clubs for at risk youth where one mentors kids and becomes like a “big brother”.

The judge in Law Abiding Citizen states: “I can pretty much do whatever I want” before being blown up whilst answering her mobile phone. What’s your view on the appropriate use of such devices?

They are a necessary evil. I would be a hypocrite if I didn’t say I use my phone 24/7. I am trying to set boundaries more and more lately.

If you could fill a carriage on The Orient Express, who would be your fellow passengers?

Tom Ford.

If you were unfortunate enough to end up on death row, what would be your last meal and where would you eat it?

I would eat an amazing breakfast at the summit of Mount Everest.

What time is it acceptable to consume the first drink of the day?

N/A.

A Negroni, a martini or a cup of tea?

Jasmine green tea with ginger and honey.

Whose parties do you enjoy the most and why?

Steve Aoki’s: They are the most authentic and fun.

Who is the most positive person you know?

My coach, Tom Ferry.

What’s your most guilty pleasure?

Adrenaline: I’m a junky.

If a tattoo were to sum you up, what would it be of?

My wife and daughters names on my inner wrist. Vertically.

If you were a car, what marque would you be?

The Ferrari Stallion.

Cilla Black presented Surprise, Surprise. Tell us the most surprising thing about you.

I used to be a professional break dancer.

What’s currently sitting on your mantelpiece?

Plaques, awards, degrees and photos with dignitaries, actors, athletes, musicians.
